Minerals Plant Warehouse Production Worker- Baton Rouge

FULL-TIME

$15 / Hr.

Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Production Technician for a local client in East Baton Rouge. A recession-proof company is seeking a long-term employee for an evaluation hire. Looking for long-term career-minded individuals to grow with the company. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Plant Operator:

Operates various circuits
Adds the proper additives to batches, in weighed amounts per batch sheet
Pack finished goods in bags with pallets
Operates mobile equipment
Operates stretch wrap equipment, installing plastic bags as required
Warehouses finished goods, stacking straight and level
Unloads inbound trucks and loads outbound trucks
Maintains the quality of the product
Maintains equipment as required
General clean-up duties when production is not being done.
Maintains records related to the production, warehousing & shipping functions
Performing all functions in a safe manner
Maintaining a clean workplace, cleaning between runs and after production as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have steel-toe boots
Must have previous forklift experience
Previous experience with a front-end loader is not required but would be preferred
Need to have Chemical experience
