Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on plant machinery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing and repairing electrical components, transformers, and wiring, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
• Install and repair electrical components, transformers, and wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints to execute tasks accurately.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Observe and listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions.
• Discuss machine operation variations to diagnose problems and create plans to repair machines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work with 480V electrical systems.
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and industrial maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong observational skills to detect unusual sounds or malfunctions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duquesne, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
