Join a first-of-its-kind manufacturing startup reshaping how iron is made. We're building a novel, clean-tech process and are looking for an experienced Commissioning Mechanic to help install, start up, and maintain the critical fluid and mechanical systems that power our operation.

This is a hands-on role with real impact—ideal for someone who enjoys commissioning new equipment, solving complex mechanical problems, and helping build a facility from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Install, commission, and validate industrial fluid and mechanical systems (pumps, valves, piping, motors, compressors)
• Support startup activities and transition systems from installation to steady-state operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and process issues in chemical/fluid systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using a CMMS
• Complete basic welding, fabrication, and piping repairs as needed
• Collaborate closely with engineering and operations during plant ramp-up

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, fluid, or chemical systems
• Strong hands-on experience with pumps, valves, piping, motors, and compressors
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and schematics
• Basic welding and fabrication capability
• Familiarity with CMMS-based maintenance programs

Nice to Have

• Equipment commissioning or plant startup experience
• Previous experience working in a startup or greenfield manufacturing environment

Schedule & Location

• Day shift: approximately 6:30am–3:30pm (OT as needed)
• Initial training in Boulder, with relocation to a new Broomfield production facility in July
• Fast-paced startup environment with evolving systems and processes

This is a Contract position based out of Broomfield, CO.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
