*A growing mechanical team in the Des Moines area is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support residential and light-commercial installation projects. *Position Overview: The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing sheet metal, ductwork, and residential HVAC systems while ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant work. This role offers steady, local projects throughout the Des Moines metro area with opportunities for advancement.

*Key Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal components for HVAC systems
• Perform residential HVAC system installations
• Interpret and work from blueprints and construction drawings
• Fabricate and install ductwork and sheet metal as needed
• Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and performance standards

*Required Skills

• Proficiency in sheet metal installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC installation
• Skilled in ductwork fabrication and installation

*Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sheet metal installation experience
• Experience in residential or commercial HVAC installation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
