Job Description

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is a self-motivated HVAC professional who enjoys solving complex mechanical and controls issues. They are comfortable working independently in commercial facilities and have a solid understanding of both HVAC equipment and modern BAS/DDC technologies to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including:
Air handling units (AHUs)
Chillers
Boilers
Troubleshoot HVAC electrical and control systems.
Install, program, and service BAS/DDC control systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Calibrate sensors, actuators, and control devices.
Analyze HVAC system performance and recommend improvements.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequence of operations.
Respond to emergency service calls.
Document service work and maintain accurate records.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC).
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC controls and communication networks.
Experience with one or more BAS platforms such as:

Johnson Controls Metasys Siemens Desigo

Trane Technologies Tracer

Honeywell Honeywell

Schneider Electric EcoStruxure

EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders, rooftops, and mechanical rooms.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

HVAC trade school or technical degree.
Journeyman HVAC license (where applicable).
Experience commissioning or retro-commissioning BAS systems.
Knowledge of energy management and building optimization.
