Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This company has been in business for over 80 years and just finished a large expansion. They have a strong reputation for maintaining a positive, promote from within, people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment as well as plant mechanical systems and develop sustainable solutions accordingly.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement, also provides suggestions to improve processes, and participates in team projects

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years experience in a Maintenance role or 3 years of experience in industrial equipment Boiler, Chiller, OR HVAC
• Strong mechanical background in a production setting; Installation, troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, sprocket/chains, belts, clutches, bearings, brakes, seals, and gaskets.
• Computer literacy at least at a basic level
