Project Manager - Public Construction

This General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide overall management direction for multiple Massachusetts Public Projects.

Responsibilities include:
• Facilitating pre-construction meetings and site visits with the owner/client to discuss and define project requirements in order to establish project work plans and deadlines.
• Leading, managing, and mentoring all those who directly report at the project level: Assistant Project Manager(s), Superintendent(s), Assistant Superintendent(s), Project Engineer(s), and Construction Administration staff.
• Accountable for Project Change Orders; aspects include process, administration, and routing/approval as it relates to each project.
• Managing client interface and subcontractor agreements for multiple projects.
• Performing other duties as assigned including scheduling, purchasing, and invoicing.
• Coordinating/managing between 2-4 projects at the same time depending on the size.

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of construction project management experience or project management experience in specifically Massachusetts Public Construction / DCAMM projects.
• Previous experience in pre-construction planning, commercial construction, and basic estimating is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high volume environment and manage multiple construction projects at a time to meet established goals.
• Customer relationship management experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project and Procore.
• Must have OSHA 10 training.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or above preferred
