Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. Your duties will include performing minor electrical tasks, disassembling and repairing machinery components, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical duties such as voltage and continuity checks, and replace broken parts.

• Disassemble, repair, and replace malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.

• Maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery.

• Conduct and document preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.

• Request necessary parts or electrical components for machinery.

• Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair conveyor belts, bearings, and electrical motors.

• Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and pneumatic power tools.

• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electromechanics, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with industrial maintenance and FETTE & BOSCH machines.

• Knowledge of electronic components, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PLC troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with computer systems including Microsoft applications.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.

• Experience with A/DC motors, PLC electronic systems, and machinery installations.

• Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and electronic systems.

• Forklift operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a packaging environment.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Experience in repairing industrial pharmaceutical equipment.

Work in a climate-controlled cleanroom environment during the third shift from 10 pm to 6 am.

The pay range for this position is $62899.00 - $62899.00/yr.
