Job Description
- Operate CNC lathes to produce machined parts from bar stock.
- Load machines with bar stock.
- Perform tool changes, tool touch-offs, and reset tool count registers.
- Monitor tooling wear.
- Perform part inspections according to control plans and quality requirements.
- Enter production and quality data into the online business system.
- Maintain part quality by performing machine offsets.
- Meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
- Complete basic preventive maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Document production activities, irregularities, and shift information.
- Complete required electronic and paper logs.
