Job Title: CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist
Location: Glenwood, MN
Compensation: $23.00-$29.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00am-4:30pm | Monday-Friday

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring CNC Mill & Lathe Machinists for a leading manufacturing company located in Glenwood, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist:

• Set up and operate CNC or manual machines to produce parts to specifications
• Maintain production rates to meet hourly output targets
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation such as SPC records
• Replace tools and drills and adjust tool offsets as needed
• Count and track parts produced for accurate job reporting
• Perform basic CNC programming, setup, and machine maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the machine shop

What You Need to Bring to the CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist Role:

• High school or technical school training in machining preferred
• Experience in CNC machining or machine shop environments preferred
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and technical specifications
• Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Ability to maintain accountability for quality and production output
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and handle workplace demands
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods in a machine shop environment
