Job Title: APG Mechanic
Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract to Permanent)
Pay Rate: $30-$38/Hr on W2
Shift: 1st shift. (4/10- Schedule)
Description:
C-130 Flightline APG Mechanic- This position will be part of the Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team, Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
The Production Flightline APG, C-130 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Fueling/Defueling
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred
Must be able to start 3/9/26
Must be able to work 1st
1st Shift - Mon. Thru Thurs.;5: 30 AM to 4: 00 PM
Looking for long term Contractor with Interest in going Direct in the future if the opportunity becomes available.
