Job Description
Job Summary
Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supports and complies with safety and environmental guidelines
- Conducts regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Diagnoses problems with equipment and repairs/replaces defective parts
- Fabricates as needed
Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve at a basic level
- Carpentry skills, preferred
- Basic manufacturing wiring skills, preferred
Physical Requirements
- Able to consistently stand, walk, squat/kneel, bend, reach, pull/push, work at heights (approximately 4 stories), climb, work at waist height and overhead.
- Able to read, comprehend and communicate (written and verbal) in English.
- Able to perform fine and gross motor skills.
- Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
