Description

Westaff is Hiring for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Shelton, CT!

Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay: $26-$30/hr, based on experience

Maintenance Responsibilities:

Perform facility repairs, maintenance, and required documentation
Repair leaking/clogged pipes, air lines, electrical and lighting fixtures
Complete light welding and carpentry tasks
Support seasonal grounds work, including snow removal
Maintain and install equipment: compressors, HVAC, elevators, lifts, exhaust units
Maintain production equipment: tow motors, grinders, dust collectors, wrap machines, hoists
Maintain company vehicles
Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance
Work occasional overtime and holidays as needed
Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Maintenance Qualifications:

8+ years of maintenance experience
Welding, boiler repair, electronics, or auto repair certifications a plus
Valid CT driver's license required
Ability to read blueprints, SOPs, and troubleshoot issues
Strong math skills and ability to work independently
Knowledge of auto mechanics and ability to operate a plow truck
Comfortable working at heights and using testing equipment
OSHA 10, LOTO, confined space, fall protection, CPR, and forklift experience preferred
