Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technician

What You Will Do:

• Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
• Have an incessant focus on the quality of the service you provide and the safety of our Customers and Team Members ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety requirements, Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.
• Assist the team in producing first in class aircraft engine maintenance turn around time/response time through team collaboration and execution of RTX's CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.
• Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.
• Perform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required
• Build Internal and External relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
• The position is based at the Dallas TX site reporting directly to the Site Operations Leader.
• This is an on-site, night shift position with typical hours of 2:00pm 10:30pm.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines
• Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license
• Analytical Skills and an analytical approach to problem solving
• Highly motivated self starter and creative troubleshooting skills
• Possess excellent judgment and professional maturity
• Possess extraordinary people and social skills, collaborative team player

Pratt & Whitney Dallas, TX, is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. • Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
