General Laborer

Our client, a leading organization in waste management, is seeking Clean-Up Event General Laborers to support their scheduled weekend clean-up events.

Location: Visalia, CA

Pay Range: $18.00/hour

Shift: Saturdays ONLY; scheduled event dates and times will vary.

What's the Job?

• Assist residents by removing household items such as furniture, tires, mattresses, and similar items from their vehicles.
• Safely lift and move items weighing 45 lbs or more to ensure efficient disposal.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of household items in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when interacting with residents to promote positive community relations.
• Follow all safety protocols and dress code requirements, including jeans, long sleeve shirts, and steel toe boots.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 45+ lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Steel-toe boots are required for safety.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents.
• Reliable transportation to report to the work location on time.
• No scavenging activities allowed; focus on safe and proper disposal of household items.
