We are seeking candidates for Railcar Repair Technician roles on the 1st shift, 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Compensation for these temp opportunities is $22.00 per hour. Interested? What you will do as a Railcar Repair Technician:

• Maintain repair or maintenance records
• Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
• Inspect train cars and tankers to determine overall condition
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning
• Measure distances or dimensions
• Seal gaps or cracks to prevent leakage or moisture intrusion

What you need to be a Railcar Repair Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
