Concrete Form Carpenter Needed!

Job Description

The Form Carpenter Technician will have hands-on experience in setting up and dismantling concrete formwork systems, specifically Doka and Symons. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction drawings, safety protocols, and concrete forming techniques. This role is essential to ensuring the structural integrity and timely completion of concrete construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork requirements.

• Assemble and install Doka and Symons form systems for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials to build customized forms.

• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, leveled, and braced to meet structural and safety standards.

• Strip and clean forms after concrete placement and prepare them for reuse.

• Collaborate with concrete crews to ensure timely pours and proper curing.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial form carpentry, with proven expertise in Doka and Symons systems.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.

• Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and construction site safety.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
