Die Cast Operator - 1st Shift

We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Die Cast Operator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $17.50-$20.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you'll do as the Die Cast Operator:

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Ensure part quality is in accordance with inspection report
• Monitor the machine effectively
• Accurately complete reports and all necessary paperwork for the jobs
• Responsible for correct full box quantities and job counts
• Utilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area
• Actively participate in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
• Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Communicate with the supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner

What you need to be a Die Cast Operator:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use measuring instruments, such as gage pins, scales, etc.
• Ability to follow work instructions
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
• Regular attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
