WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Complete initial training during 1st shift (M-F from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). Following successful training, your schedule will shift to 12-hour workdays with a rotating pattern of 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 2 off, and 3 on, 3 off.
Execute all assigned tasks promptly and professionally, following safety protocols.
Enhance your skills and knowledge related to maintenance processes.
Develop troubleshooting and repair capabilities for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
Plan and execute tasks to install, move, repair, and maintain diverse production and facility equipment.
Diagnose problems, assess the extent of necessary repairs, disassemble equipment, replace or repair parts, and reassemble and adjust as needed.
Perform all necessary machine operations to construct replacement parts or restore worn or defective components.
Carry out welding tasks such as fabricating or repairing guards, stands, or bins.
Conduct preventative maintenance on production and facility machinery.
Report any issues with equipment, materials, or unusual conditions promptly to your supervisor.
Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Set up and operate machine tools with care to avoid damage or loss.
Willingness to work a regular schedule and overtime as needed.
Be prepared to take on additional duties as assigned, which may require flexibility in work hours to meet the company’s needs.
YOU HAVE:
Academic Background:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Trade school certificate in maintenance or machine repair.
Previous Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Skills:
Basic reading, writing, and math proficiency.
Computer skills, including data entry and retrieval.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience using digital or analog volt/amp/ohm meters.
Familiarity with measuring tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
