Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator Job Description

Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines according to production specifications. Load raw plastic materials into extrusion equipment. Adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, pressure) to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and defects. Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of extrusion equipment. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements. Assist with changeovers, material handling, and other production tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications.

Essential Skills

• Experience with extrusion machines and machine operating.

• At least 2 years of previous machine operating experience.

• Ability to make minor repairs to machines.

• Ability to use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining clean and organized workspaces.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
