3?Month Contract | $35$45/hour + Overtime

We are hiring a hands?on Construction Safety Specialist to support the ZYN Manufacturing Facility during its largest growth phase. This is a high?visibility, field?based role focused on active engagement, real?time intervention, and injury prevention on a large commercial new?build project.

Project Overview

• Project: ZYN Manufacturing Facility
• Location: Aurora, CO
• Duration: ~6090 days (through end of June)
• Site Size: ~1,000 workers on site
  • ~700 on day shift
  • ~300 on night shift
• Safety Team: Two core safety professionals + this role added due to manpower increase

What You'll Be Doing

You will serve as a visible, field?driven safety presence, spending ~90% of your time in the field interacting directly with multiple trades.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain a strong on?site presence to drive a culture of safety
• Actively engage crews and reinforce site safety expectations
• Identify unsafe behaviors and conditions and stop work when necessary
• Conduct daily safety walks and field observations
• Coach trades in real time using clear, professional communication
• Support the Safety Coordinator with incident prevention and documentation
• Assist with toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Enforce OSHA standards and site?specific safety rules consistently
• Support extended and augmented shifts as project activity increases
• Be approachable, visible, and firm in safety enforcement

Required Qualifications (Must?Have)

• OSHA 30 Certification (required)
• Commercial construction safety experience on large new?build projects
• Minimum 2+ years of field?based construction safety experience
• Experience working on high?manpower sites (500+ workers)
• Strong presence in active jobsite environments with multiple trades
• Ability and confidence to stop work and redirect unsafe behavior
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules, including nights

Schedule & Pay

• Pay Rate: $35$45/hour (DOE)
• Overtime: Required and expected
• Shifts:
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 3:00 PM 2:00 AM
• Schedule may adjust to support peak site activity

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
