Construction Worker- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Watertown, SD

Pay: $22-$25/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday , 6 am-5 pm

We are seeking a skilled construction worker who will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of various building structures. The role requires working with a team to ensure quality and safety in every project, adapting to a flexible work schedule, and handling physically demanding tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain current knowledge of and apply safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards daily.

• Demonstrate the ability to read, understand, and construct according to construction plans.

• Execute tasks required to complete quality building repairs, including door and window replacements, siding, roofing, skylights, and general maintenance.

• Operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.

• Adapt to a flexible work schedule and various weather conditions.

• Work in physically demanding environments, including high climbing and heavy lifting.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in framing, construction, and carpentry.

• Experience with commercial and rough carpentry.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with metal framing and sheet metal work.

• Capability in finish carpentry and installation tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to participate in a 12-month training program.

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays during peak periods.

• Capability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights up to 40 feet.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
