This role involves leading and motivating teams to achieve project goals successfully. The Electrician will coordinate with owners and manufacturing representatives to test, troubleshoot, and commission 480 V power distribution equipment, configure parameters, and modify electrical systems for plant production. Troubleshooting and repairing 480V and 120V panels, including power wiring, control wiring, PLCs, relays, and power supplies, are essential aspects of this position. The candidate should have a strong level of experience working with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems and be proficient in reading schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to identify and repair equipment. Safety is a crucial component of the job, with responsibility for ensuring project and crew safety through active participation in safety programs. Effective communication skills are needed to build relationships with onsite client representatives and allied trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team towards achieving project goals.
• Coordinate with owners and manufacturing representatives for testing and commissioning 480 V power distribution equipment.
• Test, configure, and modify electrical systems for plant production.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V and 120V panels, including power wiring, control wiring, PLCs, relays, and power supplies.
• Maintain a strong level of experience with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems.
• Proficiently read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Ensure project and crew safety through active participation in safety programs.
• Build productive relationships with onsite client representatives and allied trades.
• Maintain overall electrical and construction knowledge.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in electrical systems, conduit, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with construction, blueprint reading, and industrial installations.
• Ability to pull wire, bend conduit, and read technical drawings.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in service, maintenance, and installation of new equipment.
• Possession of a state-issued journeyman electrician's license.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dulles, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr. They have great benefits for health care, retirement, 401K plan.
