Refrigeration Maintenance Technician

Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd
Compensation: $27.20/hr - $38.55/hr
Sign-on Bonus: $3,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to maintenance requests from various departments (Production, Food Safety, Safety, etc.)
• Communicate maintenance issues effectively during shift handoffs
• Document daily tasks in both paper and maintenance management systems (SAP)
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues across all operations
• Utilize inventory parts for repairs and properly document usage
• Identify and suggest operational improvements
• Perform modifications to enhance machinery performance
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for troubleshooting and parts sourcing
• Use hand tools for production machinery maintenance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards
• Effectively read, write, and communicate in English
• Perform basic computer tasks
• Execute basic TIG welding when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training and certification in Refrigeration Engineers & Technicians (RETA) and International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR)
• Prior experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
• Electrical or mechanical experience
• Experience with boilers
• Experience with air compressors
