Low Voltage Service Technician - San Antonio, Texas

Responsibilities:

Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems at commercial job sites
Diagnose and repair issues involving structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, audio visual, and related systems
Perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades
Troubleshoot connectivity, device, fire alarm, and network communication issues
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
Install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cabling as needed
Work with access control devices including mag locks, strikes, door contacts, and readers
Support CCTV camera installations, replacements, and troubleshooting
Assist with fire alarm device installation, troubleshooting, and servicing
Document service work and communicate updates with project managers and customers
Work safely on ladders and lifts while following all site safety requirements

Requirements:

2+ years of commercial low voltage service or installation experience
Experience troubleshooting low voltage systems including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems preferred
Strong understanding of telecom and data networks
Ability to work independently and manage service calls professionally
Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, OSHA, and fire alarm certifications are a plus
Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the San Antonio area as needed
