Once training is completed, will be notified which shift will be hired on.Overtime: Must be flexible to work daily overtime and/or Saturday overtime.Training: Will take several weeks, and will take place during day time hours.Starting Pay: $23.41 an hourPrimary Duties:Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facilityPrimary duties include safely operating a lift truck or roll grab while performing a wide range of tasks in the warehouse or plant.The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.Job Functions Include But Not Limited To:Ensure our customers get the quality, consistency, and responsiveness they deserveEmbrace the WestRock culture, based on values of integrity, respect, accountability, and excellenceAbility to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assignedAbility to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulationsAbility to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skillsAbility to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shiftFlexibility to work longer hours; which include days, nights, and weekendsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentRequirements:2+ years' experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferredFlexibility to work longer hours; which include days, nights, and weekendsMUST be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.If this sounds great to you and you think you fit in, please submit your application. The starting rate is $23.41 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
