Cnc mill machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Multi-Axis Mill Machinist to operate state-of-the-art equipment and produce complex, high-precision parts. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Mills, reading blueprints, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. This is an ITAR position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints to determine tooling and fixture requirements.
• Select and install the proper tooling, fixtures, and machine settings to ensure precise machining operations.
• Perform complex machining tasks, including drilling, milling, tapping, and boring, ensuring conformance to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance during production runs, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and prevent defects.
• Inspect finished parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine issues, including diagnosing problems related to tool wear, programming, or machine malfunctions, and performing basic machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency and quality.
