This is a critical role in our Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) department, offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. The Opportunity: Production Equipment Maintenance Technician Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour (Based on experience) Status: Direct Hire (Full-Time with benefits, PTO, and more) Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, M-F)What You Will Do You will be the backbone of our 2nd shift operations, focused on maintaining maximum availability and reliability of all production equipment.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, corrective, and preventative maintenance on complex machine tools, assembly lines, and test stands.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including machine drive trains and precision spindles.
• Utilize technical schematics, manuals, and troubleshooting plans to identify and resolve root causes of failure.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

What You Bring (Basic Qualifications)

• 7+ years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of specialized experience with machine drive trains, precision spindles, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid systems.
• 3+ years of proven expertise in troubleshooting and analyzing complex equipment failures.
• Solid experience with safety procedures and working with hand tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Bonus Skills (Preferred Qualifications)

• PLCs and control systems.
• Advanced machine shop operations (lathes, grinders, stamping, milling).
• Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repair.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints proficiently.
• A Journeyman machinist level is a plus.
• Being a proactive, self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots machine tools, assembly lines and test stands. Troubleshoot, modify and repair and maintain
machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc.
• Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble and predict failure. Dissembles machines and repairs
or replaces broken parts, pieces and equipment. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as
necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts. Initiates request for replacement parts. Examines and repairs
controls as required.
• Diagnosis of electrical problems with in machine circuitry. Performs all work in accordance with established
safety procedures.
• Uses handbooks, machine assembly drawings, blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, trade
manuals, sketches, and/or verbal instructions, to maintain mechanical devices.
• Maintains maintenance records and updating of machine documentation.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area; performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Utilizes continuous improvement concepts in quality, efficiency and meeting production standards
