Electro-Mechanical Technician

Pay: $25.00- $30.00/hr per hour depending on experience

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401 (k) and more!

Shift: 1st Shift Monday- Friday 6am-2pm or 3rd shift 10pm-6am

Location: Morgantown, PA

Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Technician :

Maintain and repair electrical control and distribution equipment, including switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.
Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) systems and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
Diagnose and repair motor control centers (MCCs), motor starter circuits, control loops, and related electrical equipment.
Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems.
Utilize electrical and electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, and megohm meters to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Fabricate parts not commercially available using machine and hand tools to maintain operational efficiency.
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Support and maintain plant equipment involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot and support HVAC and/or gas burner systems and related controls (preferred).

Qualifications of the Electro-Mechanical Technician :

3+ years of Electro-Mechanic experience required
Must be able to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color coding
Boiler and Cooling system experience preferred
Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word programs
Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams
Ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and initiate repairs
Ability to stand on entire shifts and to lift up to 50lbs
