Forklift operator at lg/ 1st shift

Client: LG (Washers & Dryers Manufacturing) Location: Clarksville, TN (LG Campus) Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Job Summary Randstad is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at a major manufacturing facility (LG) in Clarksville, TN, which specializes in the production of washers and dryers. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of materials within the warehouse and production areas

work hours: 6:45 AM - 5:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift (reach truck or stand-up forklift) to move, stack, and retrieve materials, parts, and finished goods.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and accounted for.
• Perform daily safety checks on the forklift equipment.
• Support the assembly line and warehouse operations by ensuring all stations are supplied with necessary materials on time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable forklift operating experience within the last two years.
• Must be able to provide 2 verifiable work references for forklift experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Compliance with all safety procedures and policies.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 35lbs

Skills

Sit Down Forklifts (6 months of experience is preferred)

Stand Up Forklifts (6 months of experience is preferred)

tugger (6 months of experience is preferred)
