Aircraft Repair Technician
As an Aircraft Repair Technician, you will perform maintenance and repair on a variety of corporate aircraft in compliance with specific manufacturers and FAA guidelines and regulations. Your role will involve troubleshooting aircraft malfunctions on basic systems and ensuring aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on corporate aircraft following specific manufacturer and FAA guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions on basic aircraft systems.
- Communicate regularly with crew leader on job progression and technical information.
- Complete sign-out form for parts taken from stock.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, repair, and maintenance records.
- Return tools and equipment to appropriate storage locations and maintain a clean work area.
- Perform specific assigned shop duties.
- Complete and sign off aircraft prep form as authorized.
- Manage work schedules of aircraft to meet customer flight schedules.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
- Complete discrepancy items for unfinished work.
- Maintain a file of necessary information for effective aircraft work.
- Prepare kit installations.
- Secure aircraft with cowlings and lock doors at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft.
- A&P License.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and mechanical repair.
- Experience with corporate maintenance and ground support equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have own tools.
Work Environment
The role is situated in a hangar environment with operating hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with overtime offered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
