This leadership role is ideal for a strong field professional who can drive productivity, enforce safety, and deliver high-quality installations on mid- to large-scale projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple crews on structured cabling and infrastructure build projects
- Work directly with the Project Manager on schedules, milestones, and safety compliance
- Manage labor, productivity, and materials to keep projects on time and within scope
- Oversee site safety and ensure standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Review installation quality with QA/QC teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Train, coach, and support Leads to strengthen overall team performance
- Coordinate with Field Engineers and other contractors to ensure seamless execution
- 5+ years of experience in structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and large project builds
- Proven ability to lead crews and run mid- to large-size projects
- Strong understanding of copper and fiber installation, terminations, certification, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and port maps
- Certified Fiber Installer (CFI), Certified Cabling Test Technician (CFTT), or equivalent certification (BICSI/FOA preferred)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Strong focus on safety and quality standards
