Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in facility management and building maintenance, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance department supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Mount Olive, NJ

Pay Range:

Shift: First shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), with some on-call overtime

What's the Job?

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate with systems to ensure timely completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Turno: Primera jornada (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), con algunas horas extras en guardia

¿Cuál es el trabajo?

• Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y reparaciones continuas en sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y otros sistemas del edificio.
• Realizar inspecciones de mantenimiento rutinario, diagnosticar problemas potenciales y efectuar reparaciones.
• Ayudar en la instalación y modificación de equipos y sistemas del edificio.
• Revisar órdenes de trabajo y coordinar con los sistemas para garantizar la finalización oportuna.
• Apoyar la gestión energética asegurando que todos los sistemas del edificio funcionen de manera eficiente y segura.

¿Qué se necesita?

• Diploma de escuela secundaria, GED o diploma de escuela técnica con 1-2 años de experiencia relacionada.
• Capacidad para cumplir con los requisitos físicos, incluyendo levantar cargas de 50 libras o más.
• Habilidades básicas para solucionar problemas en sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y de plomería.
• Conocimiento de procedimientos de seguridad y prácticas de bloqueo/etiquetado.
• Competencia en aplicaciones de Microsoft Office.
