Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will work on a variety of equipment, including corrugator machines, converting machines, balers, air compressors, and conveyors. The position involves a rotating 7pm to 7am shift schedule, with initial training occurring during daytime hours for 30 to 60 days, depending on the individual's learning pace.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Work with 480 volt, 3 phase motors and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and support PLC controlled equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures to minimize unplanned downtime in a high-volume paper mill environment.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, boilers, and production machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform inspections, lubrication, alignment, and component replacement.
- Support continuous improvement, reliability, and safety initiatives.
- Follow all OSHA, lockout/tagout, and plant safety procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs using CMMS or maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls during production as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience with electrical, industrial maintenance, and maintenance technician work.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3 phase, 480V, and 240V systems.
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience replacing and repairing motors, gearboxes, and belts on conveyors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
