CNC Machine Operator - $24.00-$27.00/Hr DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for our machining client to start immediately at $24-$27/hr DOE. Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup through production to create precision metal parts and tools. May also operate additional machines such as a horizontal boring mill and CNC vertical or horizontal lathes.
Performs layout work and sets up machine tools as needed.
Reviews blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine required dimensions, tolerances, operational sequences, and setup procedures.
Reads and interprets all drawings, including those with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Measures, marks, and indicates dimensions and reference points on materials or parts to guide subsequent machining work.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders.
Calculates and sets machine controls to adjust factors like speed, feed rate, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
Monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and makes necessary adjustments.
Inspects finished parts to verify conformance with specifications.
Suggests and implements improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Assists maintenance with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Follows all company and departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Performs other tasks within skill level as assigned by management.
Maintains a safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.

Location: Bridgeview, IL

Schedule/Shift Details: 2nd shift (4:30PM-3AM) Monday-Thursday with some Saturdays, as needed! TRAIN ON FIRST SHIFT 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or equivalent training preferred.
Programming experience is a plus.
Experience with Mori Seiki, Okuma, and Haas machines highly desirable.
Ability to hold close tolerances and conduct part inspections.
Proven ability to set up and operate most or all assigned machines.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Solid understanding of tool geometry, cutting applications, and the effects of feed and speed adjustments.
Willingness to collaborate in a team-focused environment.
Availability for overtime as needed.
