We're looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our team and support the development of competitive, accurate bids for commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, precision, and building strong industry relationships.

We're looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our team and support the development of competitive, accurate bids for commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, precision, and building strong industry relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using plans, specs, and project documents
- Perform material take-offs and calculate labor, equipment, and crew needs
- Develop and submit complete bid packages
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Prepare RFIs and manage subcontractor prequalification
- Maintain historical cost data and recommend value-engineering options
- Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and clients during pre-construction
- Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and proposal reviews
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor/vendor relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 2-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and estimating software (e.g., BuildingConnected)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes
- Ability to read plans/specs and analyze data
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with local subcontractor/supplier markets is a plus
