Production Associate

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality production, efficient workflow, and safe operation of equipment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the manufacturing, processing, and handling of steel piling, pipe, and structural products.
• Load and unload steel materials, ensuring proper tagging, staging, and storage.
• Perform quality checks on materials, verifying measurements, specifications, and product integrity.
• Follow production schedules and work orders to meet daily output goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support machine operators and welders with material prep, staging, and workflow needs.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production delays to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience in field labor, farming, construction, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of steel manufacturing, steel pipe, and metalworking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, GA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
