Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing tape from floors, cleaning, moving inventory, and staging inventory. You will also contribute to improving safety procedures by installing metal fences on robotics floors.

Responsibilities

• Remove tape from floors and clean designated areas.
• Move and stage inventory efficiently.
• Install metal fences on robotics floors to enhance safety.
• Utilize tools such as drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, rulers, hammers, and torque wrenches.
• Perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, repetitively.
• Work in a loud and fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, and screwdrivers.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in construction, carpentry, or industrial settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in installation, construction, or mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and inventory management.
• Ability to read schematics and perform electrical assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that is loud and can be chaotic. Shift options include 1st shift from 4:30am-2:00pm and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-12:30am, with availability required from Monday to Friday and potential for additional hours.

This is a contract position based out of Harvey, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
