Swiss/lathe operator

We are seeking an experienced Swiss / Lathe Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines and/or CNC lathes to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, a solid understanding of machining principles, and experience working in a fast-paced production environment. salary: $83,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines and/or CNC lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with supervisors or engineers as needed
