Job Title: Facilities Painter
Location: Sanford, NC
Job Type: Full Time $24.00 an hour
Monday - Friday 6:45AM-3:15PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Painter to join our team located in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment by ensuring all painted surfaces across our facility are properly repaired and finished.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Inspect painted areas for touch-ups and repairs
• Mix and match paints and finishes as needed
• Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines related to painting and material handling
• Assist with additional maintenance tasks as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter-facility or commercial setting preferred
• Ability to complete projects with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with various painting techniques, tools, and materials
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of PPE
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
• Able to safely use ladders and scissor lifts
• Capable of working in tight spaces and at varying heights

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of facility or commercial painting experience
• Knowledge of minor drywall repair and surface preparation
