Pay Rate: $20-$25hour DOE
PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Journeyman Electrician will perform the following duties:
• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams
• Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers
• Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
• Use hand and power tools
• Adhere to state and local building regulations
• Complete work orders on time
• Create records of materials used
• Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven previous experience as a Journeyman electrician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a certified Electrician
- Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently without supervision
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance and repairs
