Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $30 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Boiler Operator:

• Operate and monitor the boiler to meet production demands; assist with maintenance and inspection tear-downs

• Mix, batch, and blend liquid products using pumps, valves, and tanks according to company formulas and procedures

• Test inbound ingredients and finished products to ensure quality, weight, formulation, and labeling accuracy

• Load and unload bulk liquid trucks and railcars

• Prepare, set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, including forklifts and tools

• Calibrate equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report safety hazards or malfunctions

• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete all required production and regulatory documentation

• Follow company, state, and federal HSE policies and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Communicate professionally with team members and clients and support team-based operations

• Attend required training, maintain certifications, and report to work on time ready to perform assigned duties

Job requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Current State of Minnesota Boiler License (minimum Class 2-B) and ability to maintain licensure

• Minimum of one year of boiler experience or 2,000 operating hours (or equivalent on-the-job training)

• Mechanical aptitude with experience operating and maintaining industrial equipment, including boilers, pumps, valves, tanks, and hand/power tools

• Basic computer skills and comfort with basic mathematics

• Ability to follow sequential instructions for batching, mixing, start-up, and shut-down procedures

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment

• Ability to become certified and safely operate forklifts, motor vehicles, and similar equipment

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment
