Job Description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented candidates to join the Paint Room team. This role involves supporting the aerospace and manufacturing finishing process by prepping, coating, and completing parts to customer and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and hanging.

• Apply coatings using spray equipment and other tools as trained.

• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Assist with documentation, labeling, and moving parts through the production process.

• Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working around chemicals, coatings, and industrial equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow exact processes.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work the assigned shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior paint, coating, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required—training provided.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience with production, general labor, machine operation, assembly, sandblasting, cleanroom, medical device assembly, order pulling, paint prep, general production, forklift, packing, janitorial, packaging, cooking, paint booth, industrial painting, spray gun.

Work Environment

Work is performed in shop conditions and can exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Shifts available: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Monday–Friday) and 2:00pm – 11:30pm (Monday–Friday).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blairsville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
