CNC Machinist - 3rd shift

Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 PM to 6:00AM, Friday - Overtime

Pay Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Dayton, Ohio 45440

Experience: 3-5 Years of CNC experience preferred, specifically CNC Lathe

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will ensure precision and quality across diverse manufacturing projects. Key duties include:

• Setup & Operation: Determine requirements from setup sheets and operate machines on first-piece runs to verify accuracy.
• Technical Execution: Study blueprints and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Tooling & Materials: Select, align, and secure fixtures and cutting tools; load/unload raw materials (up to 50 lbs.).
• Quality Control: Use micrometers, height gages, and gage blocks to verify work.
• Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers and team leaders to resolve machining issues.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with GD&T and G&M codes.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift between 10-50 lbs.
• Reliability: A quality-oriented mindset with an excellent attendance record.
