Saw Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various industrial saws, maintaining equipment, and working in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal, vertical, or circular saws to cut raw materials according to specifications
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials for cutting
• Interpret production orders, blueprints, and work instructions
• Perform routine machine maintenance, blade changes, and basic troubleshooting
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with material handling as needed (loading/unloading stock)

Essential Skills

• Previous experience as a Saw Operator or similar machine operator role preferred
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and basic measuring tools
• Comfortable working with metal, lumber, or similar materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Good attendance and strong work ethic

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
