CNC Machinist - $25-$32/hr, Mon-Fri Day Shift

The CNC Machinist is primarily responsible for operating CNC Haas milling machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This role may also involve operating CNC mills and/or other manual equipment. This is a full-time position on first shift 6AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Set up and operate machines per instructions and/or standard practices. This may include loading new tools, replacing used ones as needed, and mounting fixtures/jigs.
• Monitor machine operations to maintain product quality and output.
• Maintain equipment/tooling as needed/instructed.

• Inspect finished products for conformance to provided specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to correct any deviations.
• Report and document any non-conformities or issues in the production process to the supervisor.

• Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient production.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Provide input on tooling and equipment upgrades to enhance productivity.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in the use of measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and desire to produce high-quality work.
• Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a CNC machinist in a manufa cturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic shop math (including trigonometry)
• Understanding and comprehension of blueprints / engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machine tooling, materials, and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
