Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift - Pay up to $27/hr

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic and become a vital part of our 3rd shift operations, working Sunday through Thursday from 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM. This role involves maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems across our facility locations by following detailed specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Inspect and test machinery using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Identify malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds from machinery and collaborating with the maintenance team.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts according to specifications.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus including transformers and wiring.
• Lay out and maintain piping systems and repair related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair and maintain facility structures and grounds.
• Install, program, and repair automated machinery including robots and controllers.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines for repairs.
• Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair wooden structures including counters and benches.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills up to 480v.
• Experience in equipment repair and maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with emergency procedures for hazardous waste.
• Familiarity with universal waste and used oil handling.

Work Environment:

This role is 100% on-site, supporting direct manufacturing and distribution operations. Our clean environment is maintained by a team of 5 technicians on the night shift, including both entry-level and more experienced members. The position is classified as Non-Exempt according to wage and hour regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.73 - $27.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
