Extrusion Operator

Job Description:

The Extrusion Press Operator will be responsible for the process of applying coating to?drawn and cut steel wire.

? Essential Functions :

• Candidatemust be able to learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process.

• This person must be mechanically inclined and willing toutilizethese skills toenhancethe value of the team.

• Perform required quality checks

• Complete machine setup/changeover promptly

• Input data accurately intoRoutecard

Qualifications

• Able to stand forlong periodsoftime

• Mustbe able to work well with others.

• Besafety consciousand have a "safety first" attitude.

• Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable ofsafelyoperatingthe forklift

• Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

• Press Operator experience preferred.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climbladders

• Computer experiencepreferred.
