Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Sheet metal worker to assist with various tasks in the shop, including hammering duct work, insulating curves and ducts, bending metal, and fabricating ducts according to blueprints. This role also involves supporting welders and machinists, and other shop duties as assigned.
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Assist with hammering duct work and insulating curves and ducts.
- Bend metal and fabricate ducts following blueprints.
- Support welders and machinists by tacking sheet-metal together.
- Perform general shop duties as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area during downtime.
- Prior experience in sheet-metal or duct work.
- Mechanically inclined with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Skills in metal bending, metalworking, and blueprint interpretation.
- Ability to fabricate sheet metal and assist with welding and HVAC tasks.
