Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs of our injection molding, printing, and automation industrial machines and equipment at our plant in Tolleson, AZ, to ensure that our production equipment performs as required. Job Type: Full-time
12 hours Night Shift: 6:30PM to 7:00AM
Alternating every two weeks, Works every other weekend 2, 2, 3, 2 schedules
Pay Range: $28.00 to $38.00/Hr plus $2.00/Hr Shift Differential
Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation
Responsibilities:
- Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding equipment, Dry Off-set printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems.
- Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment (conveyors, box sealing machines, grinding equipment, stackers, etc.)
- Preventative maintenance in molding of Husky and BNB injection Molding equipment
- Preventative maintenance for support equipment.
- Maintain PM files - database
- Maintain work-order files database.
- Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and (HACCP) Practices.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager
- Must Know the Quality Policy, Food Safety Policy and apply it to working practices.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes
- Follow all Lock-Out Tag-out procedures
- Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.

- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Must be mechanically and electrically inclined.
- Must be safety and quality conscience at all times.
- 3-5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Additional training may be required to retain position
- Must be familiar with the operation of PLCs, Drives, and robots.
- Must have basic equipment maintenance tools
- Must be responsible, self- motivated and team oriented. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Must have a willingness to take a "hands on" approach during times of process interruption.
- Prior experience working on Husky injection molding machines preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum three-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
